Account and profile information

Collection and artwork information
When you add an artwork, we may process photographs and information such as its title, anime or franchise, episode, movie or OAV, artwork type, dimensions, background information, acquisition information, comments, visibility and sale status.
Identify uploads
When you use Identify, we process the image you submit and information generated while comparing it with reference images in order to provide identification results.
Transaction information
Where marketplace features are available, we may process information relating to listings, offers, purchases, sales, prices, shipping and transactions. Payment information may be collected and processed directly by our payment provider. suppacel does not intend to store complete payment card details.
Technical information
We may collect information such as IP address, device and browser information, technical logs and information necessary to operate and secure the service.
Communications
We may retain information you provide when contacting us, requesting support or submitting feedback.
3.Why we use your information
We use personal information where necessary to:

- Provide user profiles and collection features
- Display artworks according to users' visibility choices
- Operate and improve Identify
- Provide marketplace features

Depending on the processing concerned, we rely on performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests, compliance with legal obligations or your consent where required.
4.Public information
suppacel is designed in part around sharing collections with other collectors.
Information you choose to make public may therefore be visible to other users and visitors. This may include your username, profile picture, bio and artworks you have chosen to display publicly.
Your private contact details, including your email address, phone number and private address, are not intended to be displayed publicly.
5.Identify images
Images submitted through Identify are processed to compare the artwork with reference material and return possible matches.
Identify is designed to identify animation artwork, not people.
Images submitted through Identify may be securely retained for 90 days to monitor the performance of the identification service, investigate incorrect results and improve Identify.
The audit copies are not made publicly available and are scheduled for automatic deletion after 90 days. Any artwork image separately saved by the user is retained as part of that artwork.
The account identifier and username associated with an Identify attempt, its results, matching scores and limited technical information may also be retained for 90 days and are scheduled for automatic deletion after that period.
6.Service providers
We use trusted service providers to operate suppacel, including providers of hosting, databases, authentication, storage, email and, where applicable, payment services.
These providers may process personal information only as necessary to provide their services and subject to applicable data protection requirements.
Where personal information is transferred outside the European Economic Area, appropriate safeguards required under applicable data protection law are used.
7.How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and to meet applicable legal requirements.
Account information is generally retained while your account remains active.
Artwork and collection information is retained while you choose to keep it on suppacel, subject to legal or technical retention requirements.
Images submitted through Identify may be retained for up to 90 days as described above.
Transaction information may be retained for longer periods where required for accounting, tax, fraud prevention or legal purposes.
Technical and security information is retained for an appropriate limited period.
8.Cookies
suppacel may use cookies or similar technologies necessary to operate the website, authenticate users and protect the service.
If we use non-essential cookies or similar technologies requiring consent, we will ask for your consent before using them.
9.Your rights
Under applicable data protection law, including the GDPR, you may have the right to access your personal information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, restrict certain processing, object to certain processing, receive certain information in a portable format and withdraw your consent where processing is based on consent.
